Audrey Dailey McCullough, 96, of Cumberland, died Friday, May 26, 2017 at Frostburg Village.

Born October 21, 1920 in Romney, WV, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Ida May (Sirk) Dyer.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Urcel “Mac” McCullough; a daughter, Debbie A. McCullough; a step-son, Donnie McCullough; a granddaughter, Brenda Adams; her brother, Richard Dyer; and, her sister, Helen Grapes.

She belonged to the Old Furnace Church of the Brethren. Mrs. McCullough was a life-long member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Fort Ashby Post #6667, V.F.W.; and, Chapter 914 Women of the Moose

Survivors include her three sons, Harold C. Abe, Waterloo, IA, Raymond L. Abe, Cheyenne, WY, and Glenn A. Abe, Ridgeley, WV; her daughter, Opal M. Tadle, Cumberland; 10 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren and great, great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene Street, Cumberland, on Friday, June 2, 2017 from 11 AM until 1 PM. The funeral service will follow at 1 PM, with Pastor David Sutton, officiating

The Ladies Auxiliary of Fort Ashby Post #6667, VFW, will conduct a memorial service on Friday at noon.

Interment will be in Abe Cemetery.
